Habit AI helps you keep healthy habits by understanding your own patterns. Doing that well needs sensitive information — your activity, your sleep, your calendar, sometimes your camera. Almost all of it is read, used and discarded on your iPhone, and never reaches us.
The short version. Habit AI has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or password. Your health data, camera frames, calendar contents and precise location are processed on your device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. The only information that leaves your iPhone is anonymous app-usage analytics and crash diagnostics. We do not sell data, we do not advertise, and we do not share your health data with third parties.
Habit AI is operated by SKANDXLabs, registered in the United Arab Emirates, which is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

There is no sign-up, no login, and no password. We never collect your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
When you first open the app it generates a random identifier and stores it on your device. This identifier is not linked to you, is not shared with us, and is permanently destroyed when you delete the app.

With your permission, Habit AI reads activity, sleep, heart-rate variability, step and body-mass data from Apple Health, and writes completed sessions back so your records stay in one place.
This data is read directly from Apple Health on your device, used to calculate your scores and suggestions there, and never transmitted to us. In line with Apple's requirements, health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties.
You can withdraw access at any time in the Health app, under Sharing. Everything else in Habit AI continues to work without it.
During a movement analysis session the camera detects your body position so the app can count repetitions and measure how far each joint moved.
No video or image is ever recorded, saved or uploaded. Each frame is analysed in memory on your device and immediately discarded. Only the resulting numbers — repetitions, angles, timings — are kept, and they stay on your device.
Habit AI reads only the start and end times of your events, to judge how densely booked your day is. It does not read, store or transmit event titles, locations, attendees, notes or any other content. The app can tell that you are busy until 18:45; it cannot tell what you are doing.
If you choose a gym, the app recognises when you arrive and stay there, so those visits count without you starting a timer. It also monitors significant changes in location to detect travel and disruption to your routine. During a walk, the app keeps a low-accuracy location session open so it can continue counting steps while your screen is off.
Location is processed entirely on your device. No GPS coordinates or location history are ever stored on our servers or transmitted to us or anyone else.
If you allow notifications, Habit AI sends reminders it composes on your device. Notification content is generated locally.
Two things leave your device, both through Google Firebase, and neither contains health data:
Firebase is provided by Google. Its handling of this data is governed by Google's privacy terms for Firebase.
You can withdraw any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app, under Habit AI.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase and port your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
In practice, most of these are immediate and in your own hands: the data Habit AI holds about you lives on your device, so deleting the app erases all of it permanently. Data written to Apple Health stays in Apple Health, under your control, and can be removed there.

On-device data is kept until you delete it or delete the app. Analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google's retention settings, currently a maximum of 14 months for analytics events.
Habit AI is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will help remove any associated data.
SKANDXLabs is established in the United Arab Emirates. The anonymous analytics and crash data described above are processed by Google on infrastructure that may be located outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards set out in Google's Firebase terms. Your health, camera, calendar and location data are not transferred anywhere, because they do not leave your device.
If we change how Habit AI handles data — for example by introducing a feature that transmits information we previously kept on-device — we will update this page and change the effective date above. Material changes will also be surfaced in the app.
